Six months ago, Jenna met Conner when he performed the Heimlich maneuver on her while she was choking on a hot dog at Wienerschnitzel. It was love at second bite (she finished the wiener).
But with the perfect relationship, we want to have the perfect wedding.
OUR DREAM MARRIAGE
We want to keep the wedding small with just our closest loved ones, so we’ll be renting a castle in Clare, Ireland that seats an intimate 300. The archetypal luxury Irish castle sitting on a 450-acre estate, is, quite simply, the ultimate fairytale wedding location. Being two fully-grown adults in love with Disney to a point where people have quietly asked if we have ever experienced head trauma, we want our special day to be as dizzying and bombastic as the ones in the classic films. However, what Disney doesn’t tell you is that those weddings come with a hefty price tag, and that’s why we need our friends and family to make it happen for us.
To make this as Disney-centric as possible, we decided that Jenna will be dressed as Elsa and will be arriving in a pumpkin carriage. Since these are not available in the county, we will be having a team of artisanal woodworkers handcraft one from cherry wood shipped in from Vermont. Conner will be flying in dressed as the Rocketeer which will also require custom-built jetpacks.
The wedding will include a Lightning McQueen life-sized, drivable cake. 3000 balloons that say “Up” on them. 2000 chickens. No bar. This is a dry wedding. And since Jenna wants everyone to match, all bridesmaids will be expected to fit into a size 6 dress.
We know that this ceremony is well beyond our means, but thankfully, we’re extremely blessed to have all of you special people in our lives to support us. Please help make our dream wedding a reality! We will be attaching our registry as soon as we make our goal.
