There’s plenty of great reasons to read books. There’s the obvious benefit of learning new things, but some studies suggest that it’s also better for one’s eyes than looking at a screen. Some people even say that reading gives them a meditative satisfaction and zen-like comfort. I can only imagine how these benefits could impact my life if I wasn’t confined to only reading in my home’s one and a half bathrooms!
The toilet’s confinement to the bathroom has restricted readers for too long! I aspire to break society’s sanitary shackles by equipping toilets in my living room, dining room, basement, and daughter’s room (reading to children at night is proven to help their test scores later). By creating an environment that is conducive to learning at any time, I’ll be just as smart as those guys with messenger bags on the train in no time!
No longer will a good education be restricted to the high and mighty upper class aristocracy with two to three bathrooms in their home! I intend to set a trend and usher in a whole new era of education and learning! Now I must apologize, I ate 3-day-old take-out earlier and have a lot of learning to do!
