For over nine months, JumpKick has changed lives and helped countless wishes come true, making the site a rising contender in the already competitive crowdfunding industry. However, like most beggars who create campaigns on our site, we’re a bit down on our luck, too. Online fundraising is a tough business, and is unfortunately monopolized by our top competitor, GoFundMe.

That’s why, to better serve our users, JumpKick LLC is working around the clock to prepare for our corporate takeover of GoFundMe, but we can’t do it alone. Our accountants calculated the amount that we need to buy out their company and all of their fundraisers, and unfortunately it’s a little bit outside of our budget range. That’s why we’re asking for community support to make this acquisition happen.

It’s a simple fact that although we don’t nearly have as much brand recognition as GoFundMe, our campaigns blow theirs out of the water. GoFundMe features a lot of tragic and sometimes heartwarming stories, but they tend to get repetitive. On our site, at least, we also feature groundbreaking innovations like “Improved Plastic Baggies That You Can Actually Use as a Condom If You Need To”, and original, creative ideas such as “This Icebreaker Card Game Will Mask the Fact That You and Your Date Have Absolutely No Chemistry”. Because GoFundMe is the site that people use to donate, we’re missing out on the proceeds from all of their generous customers. But of course, our biggest priority is bringing the people-in-need of GoFundMe into the JumpKick family. It’s not only about the money.

We already don’t pay our interns, yet we still can’t afford to pay off the BMWs we had bought when we thought that JumpKick would really blow up. By obtaining GoFundMe, we’ll finally have the capital to spearhead important projects and missions that we hope will change the world, and be able to pay off our credit card debt.

We’ve crowdfunded countless projects and causes. Don’t you think that it’s time to crowdfund us?

And if the donations exceed what it would take to buy out GoFundMe, maybe we can overtake Kickstarter, too.
