Everyone with ADHD understands the never ending struggle of stimulation seeking.
I’ve tried everything to fulfill my craving for dopamine today to no avail—I walked 20 minutes to the discount store, bought a bunch of things that I don’t need at the discount store, went grocery shopping twice, ate some shredded cheese from the bag with the fridge open, applied to law school, scrolled through Instagram Reels, watched School of Rock, colored but then promptly got bored, went on Tinder, and even underwent ten minutes of panic when I lost my keys—still, nothing helped. And somehow it’s not even 11 a.m. yet.
My Concerta script expired a few days ago and the pharmacy is closed today. So I decided that the only thing that would ease my suffering is a dopamine EpiPen for myself and fellow stimulation seekers. And don’t you dare suggest that we just try Wellbutrin again.
I made this JumpKick because I knew that I’d lose interest in this idea if I didn’t. To accomplish this, we’d need to hire scientists, mine some dopamine, go through clinical trials, and buy a LOT of coffee.
If you donate, you can be a part of a revolutionary ADHD treatment that will be marketed to people of all ages. The EpiPen will work ten times as fast as Adderall, and maybe give some the push they need to finally write that novel.
Help people sit in extremely overstimulated peace, before we all forget about this fundraiser.
