Opening a new business is tough―I would know, I’ve started four. Seventy-five percent of businesses fail after just two months. Mine sure did. So whenever I see a new business opening up, I want to do whatever I can to help them stay afloat.

Spirit Halloween, located where the TGI Friday’s used to be, opened up just this last September and I fear that they’re already in danger!

When I was inside earlier today, I couldn’t believe the state of things! Products missing from their shelves, electronics left unplugged. It looked like they were packing up to leave! We can’t let that happen!

When I asked to talk to the manager, I was told that he was on a break, so I waited around for him to finish smoking his peculiar smelling cigarette. After which he told me that he could really use the money from this campaign (for the store, I’m sure). He spoke so slowly and softly, obviously depressed about the uncertain future of the store, and I just couldn’t bear to see it!

Spirit Halloween has put everything on the line to give us what we need, whether that was black lights or timeless classic decorations like inflatable skeletons, and we owe it to them to give back. So let’s all open our hearts and our wallets, and if you stop by, ask for Brandon, the manager―but don’t do it too loudly, because he gets really paranoid if people know his name.
